Success of QFDAM 2024 at ESSCA Paris: A focus on sustainability in quantitative finance and data analytics
On 23 and 24 May, ESSCA hosted the Quantitative Finance & Data Analytics Meeting 2024 on its Paris campus. Supported by ESSCA’s “AI for Sustainability” research institute, this year’s QFDAM had a special focus on sustainability.
Insightful keynote speeches from Pr. Shuang REN, Pr. Cheng-Few LEE and Pr. Anna CRETI offered perspectives on the strategic challenges facing today’s financial activities and provided invaluable input for academics to help them address and shape the future in the field. Thematic sessions gathered prominent international researchers around topics such as Risk, uncertainty and financial markets, Contagion, AI and financial markets, Ethical and sustainable finance, Energy and financial markets and Machine learning and financial risks.
Congrats go to Ikrame BEN SLIMANE and Elisabeth GRESSIEUX, both professors at ESSCA, for their significant contributions to this great event as part of the organising and scientific committee. All participants praised the outstanding organisation!
A special thanks also to the ESSCA professors who provided support, presented and served as session chairs: Anna DIMITROVA, Christine FOURNÈS, Dejan GLAVAS, Oussama BEN HMIDEN, Christoph WEBER, Badreddine MSOLLI, Panos XIDONAS, Pinar TOURNUS, and Nidhaleddine BEN CHEIKH.
