ESSCA took part in the annual conference of the EUonAIR European University Alliance Consortium in Zagreb on 6–7 July 2026, a key event dedicated to the challenges of artificial intelligence in higher education, research and innovation.
Over the course of two days of discussions and collaborative work organised by the Zagreb School of Economics and Management (ZSEM), alliance partners shared their perspectives on the responsible integration of AI in teaching practices, mobility, research and European cooperation.
Participants had the opportunity to attend presentations by two Nobel Prize laureates, John MARTINIS and Joel MOKYR.
Several working sessions between consortium partners helped advance strategic projects focused on AI-enhanced education, student mobility and the development of sustainable ecosystems.
ESSCA was also represented by two students, Amélie ROUX and Nathan MALINGE, who are actively involved in the alliance’s Student Board and contributed to the beta testing of MyAI Campus, one of EUonAIR’s flagship projects.
This year's conference further reinforced the collective commitment to developing responsible AI for the benefit of higher education and society as a whole.
