Reminder of the ADELANTE 2 project
The initiative, in which ESSCA is represented by Joseph ABDEL-NOUR, professor of finance, aims to promote the employee shareholding model in Mexico, in accordance with the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
Employee share ownership plays a crucial role in achieving the SDGs:

Employee shareholding in Peru
The ADELANTE 2 Project, a European Union co-financed research project, has recently reached a significant milestone with the resumption of its activities in Peru. The project focuses on exploring the dynamics of employee ownership and its potential implementation across Latin American and the Caribbean countries.
During this workshop, participants engaged in insightful discussions and presentations that delved into the economic and organizational landscapes of Peru. The collaborative effort of partners from France, Slovenia, Peru, and Mexico contributed to the success of this phase, marking it as a resounding achievement.
New milestone achieved in the European Union research project ADELANTE2
The ADELANTE2 project, a research project co-funded by the European Union, recently reached an important milestone as it resumed its activities with a workshop in Peru and its final conference in Mexico on 26 January 2024.
The project focuses on exploring the dynamics of employee ownership and its potential implementation across Latin American and the Caribbean countries.
During the workshop, participants engaged in insightful discussions and presentations that delved into the economic and organizational landscapes of Peru. The collaborative effort of partners from France,
Slovenia, Peru, and Mexico contributed to the success of this phase, marking it as a resounding achievement.
The team, including ESSCA Professor of Finance Joseph Abdel Nour, then proceeded to the final leg of its journey – the last study tour and final conference at ITESO University in Mexico.
During this conference, participants discussed international best practices in employee ownership and its potential for Mexico and Latin America, featuring debates with business leaders, policymakers, academics, and students.
