Course Structure

Two academic semesters are delivered on the Lyon campus, followed by a semester dedicated to the dissertation and internship.

Programme Schedule

The three semesters and the dissertation account for 90 ECTS credits. The programme is structured into 10 modules and includes an immersive study trip to Luxembourg (Learning Expedition).

Partnership with Exceliances

Since the 1980s, wealth management engineering has undergone significant developments, particularly thanks to the Global Wealth Management Approach and the wealth assessment.

ESSCA has signed a partnership with Exceliances to provide its students with access to Easy by Exceliances®, a digital solution enhanced by Artificial Intelligence and connectable via API. This platform offers a comprehensive 360° audit and a full catalogue of wealth and social engineering assignments, automatically tailored to each client’s case (including calculations, written reports, and deliverables), all within a secure environment hosted in France.

Students enrolled in ESSCA’s MSc Ingénierie et gestion de patrimoine, banque privée use Easy® in SaaS mode during a 30-hour workshop based on a real-life case study, supervised by professional advisers (notaries, private bankers, chartered accountants, and independent financial advisers). This partnership promotes practical, interdisciplinary experience in wealth advisory services.

Double Degree: Master in Management + MSc

Applicants holding an undergraduate degree may pursue a double degree combining the Master in Management and the MSc.

Students who choose this pathway follow an accelerated programme lasting two and a half years.

This curriculum opens the door to an international career, thanks to its diverse content: legal and tax aspects at both national and international levels, wealth management and transfer, and more.

The Master of Science also places strong emphasis on Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) criteria and digital transformation.
