ESSCA’s Finance, Accounting and Management Control (FAMC) research group was recently delighted to host Pr. Kostas Nikolopoulos, Editor in Chief of the Journal of the Operational Research Society (ABS 3) for a meet-the-editor session.
This meeting was made possible by Panos XIDONAS, professor of finance at ESSCA, whom we thank warmly for his involvement.
The talk focused on “FT50s, Publish or Perish, and the oldest OR journal – JORS”. It was a truly insightful moment that allowed ESSCA’s researchers of the FAMC research group to better understand the expectations of JORS editing committee and reviewers.
ESSCA’s Meet-the-Editor sessions provide ESSCA’s research community with great opportunities to understand how to strategically align their research with editors and journals publishing requirements.

On 5–6 November 2025, Margaux Langlois and Marco Rocchi from ESSCA took part in the second transnational meeting of the ETI LABS consortium (Erasmus Talent & Innovation Labs), hosted by MCI – The Entrepreneurial School.
