As part of the "European Universities 2024 Erasmus+" initiative, the European Commission awarded the highest rating to the EUonAIR alliance of partner universities, of which ESSCA is a partner, for its AI education project.
This initiative aims to establish alliances between higher education institutions in order to improve the international competitiveness of higher education in Europe and to promote European values and identity.
The EUonAIR comprises 10 partners and 5 associate members from 12 countries, including prestigious institutions such as the Zagreb School of Economics and Management, HTW Berlin, and the SUPSI AI research centre in Lugano.
The coordinators are the scientists Prof. Aleksandra Przegalinska and Prof. Izabela Grabowska from Kozminsky University @Akademia Leona Koźmińskiego (Kozminski University)
🎯The goal is to develop the virtual campus MyAI and create innovative solutions to promote AI-based education and support open research and innovation.
The project also includes collaboration with cities for smart and green solutions and raising awareness of AI and education.

This project has been praised by the European Commission for its potential to create a new type of university, implement AI processes in higher education in an inclusive and ethical way, and address the skills gap needed for Europe's green and digital transformation.
