On 29 January, Dominique SCHELCHER, ESSCA alumnus and CEO of the U Cooperative, spoke as part of the 10th edition of the Fil Rouge on the theme “Happiness Lies in Action”.
During his talk, Dominique Schelcher shared his experience and his perspective on the role of leaders in the face of societal change. His contribution, grounded in hands‑on experience, highlighted three essential qualities of effective leadership: resilience, curiosity and commitment.
The evening also marked the formalisation of our partnership with Skayl, a recruitment and HR consultancy firm — a collaboration built on the complementarity of our expertise and a shared commitment to staying closely connected to the local community.
In front of the 130 business leaders, alumni and students in attendance, Jean Charroin, Dean of ESSCA, announced the launch of a new specialisation, International Business Management, within the Grande École Programme. The first cohort will be welcomed from September 2026 on the Strasbourg campus.
The event concluded with an important networking moment, during which our students had the opportunity to speak directly with Dominique Schelcher, as well as with local entrepreneurs and business leaders, allowing them to gain inspiration and further develop their professional networks.
