Year 1 admissions (France)
Applying to join the first year of the Grande Ecole programme involves taking an internal admission test following registration on Parcoursup, the centralised French admissions system for higher education studies.
The admission test is accessible to all candidates who are either preparing for a French baccalaureate (in mainland France, the French overseas departments and territories, or French lycées abroad) or already hold a French baccalaureate.
The admission test for the programme consists of two parts: candidates first take the written tests of the concours ACCÈS remotely. Then, subject to eligibility, the oral exams are held in person on one of ESSCA’s campuses or remotely for those not residing in mainland France.
- Study of the Application: a 350-word summary, a logical and mathematical reasoning MCQ and an English MCQ
- Admission Tests: Admission tests: a cultural awareness test (MCQ on mobile phone), a collaborative interview, an individual motivation interview on one of the campuses and an English oral. You will only have to sit one interview, even if you apply to several campuses, and the location of your interview does not determine your future place of study.
