The guiding principle of the Grande École programme is transdisciplinarity, which means that all courses are designed to highlight the interactions that exist between various subjects.
As a result, students develop a realistic vision of business management and gain a broader understanding of the business world. The participatory course formats encourage students to confront the realities of the professional world through practical work, assignments, challenges, company projects, and more.
Throughout the course, a gradual approach ensures that skills are developed in a controlled and balanced manner from year to year. For instance, at the beginning of the 1st year, there are refresher courses in mathematics.
Personalised Assistance: The Learning Support Centre
Established 20 years ago, ESSCA’s Learning Support Centre (CAP) is dedicated to supporting students in their learning journey, regardless of their needs, with the aim of helping them reach their full potential. It organises tutoring to ensure individual follow-up throughout the year, workshops to develop effective learning strategies, coaching to meet academic requirements and personalised academic support to address a specific difficulty a student may be facing.
The Institute for Advanced Pedagogy: A Dedicated and Innovative Centre
The Institute for Advanced Pedagogy (IPA) is a dedicated centre committed to the continuous enhancement of teaching and learning by the School’s educators, focusing on the development of their teaching skills. For instance, the Institute provides training courses and workshops for faculty members, placing an emphasis on the continuous evaluation of teaching by students.
In addition, the IPA plays a significant role in the redesign and ongoing improvement of ESSCA’s programmes, ensuring their pedagogical alignment with the highest international standards in higher education. The Institute also takes a leading role in the digitalisation of teaching, incorporating the latest educational technologies into courses to guarantee the most contemporary and interactive learning experience possible!
