Across eight campuses, twelve international professors from partner universities, corporate experts and more than 550 students came together for one week with a single ambition: opening minds and broadening horizons.

international week bachelor 2026

An international experience for all first‑year bachelor students at ESSCA

Offering a meaningful international learning experience to every first‑year Bachelor students is the ambitious challenge that ESSCA has once again successfully met.

This 4th edition unfolded across the six French ESSCA campuses, as well as in Budapest and Malaga campuses, all exploring a shared theme: Sustainability, innovation and technology: bridging global trends and local realities

The goal?
To immerse students in a global learning environment without leaving their campus (“internationalisation at home”) and to strengthen their intercultural understanding ahead of their mandatory study abroad in Year 2.

A week built on interaction, exploration and hands‑on learning

Throughout the week, students took part in a wide variety of academic, creative and civic activities:

  • Academic exchanges and round tables: International professors, business experts and ESSCA faculty led key sessions, including round tables on AI at the Paris campus.
  • Hands‑on learning activities: a school‑wide poster challenge on Canva, and in Malaga, a creative TikTok challenge exploring the future of sustainability
  • Climate action workshops: immersive “2 Tonnes” workshops in Paris and Angers, encouraging students to imagine sustainable futures and explore collective solutions
  • Citizen engagement projects: in Lyon, students conducted field interviews with local residents on the Sustainable Development Goals
  • European insights: visit to the European Parliament in Strasbourg and an exchange with the Estonian Consul, offering a concrete understanding of European governance
  • Academic networking: opportunities for students to meet and exchange with visiting international professors and ESSCA faculty members
