What environmental and social ethics for the responsible company?
A graduate of ESCP Business School, Ms. Gressieux wrote a doctoral thesis at HEC Montreal (chair of ethical management) in management sciences, and in particular in financial ethics. Prior to teaching, Ms. Gressieux worked for 15 years in the banking sector in auditing and management consulting functions, in France and internationally. As an assistant professor at ESSCA, she teaches courses in business ethics, CSR and management in various programs (bachelor, PGE, masters). President of the French Business Ethics Network (EBEN) and member of the Board of Directors of the Cercle d’éthique des Affaires, she regularly gives lectures on these topics to companies, organizes conferences bringing together professionals and professors and develops research projects. Her research interests focus on ethical behavior in companies, organizational ethics and culture, financial ethics, SRI (Socially Responsible Investment) and the ethics of care.
Peggy Lefort, Head of the Pollution and Circular Economy Program (Resource Efficiency Coordinator) of the United Nations Environment Programme Finance Initiative, UNEP FI.
Why and how to finance the transition to a circular economy?
Peggy Lefort is the Pollution and Circular Economy Program Manager (Resource Efficiency Coordinator) at the United Nations Environment Programme Finance Initiative, UNEP FI, a partnership between the UN and the international financial sector to promote sustainable finance. Prior to joining UNEP FI, Peggy spent 20 years in the banking industry. Peggy worked for HSBC for 17 years, in France and Mexico, where she developed and implemented innovative structured finance solutions in various asset classes, including marine finance, real estate finance and securitization. Prior to joining HSBC, Peggy began her career as a tax lawyer at the French law firm Gide Loyrette Nouel and as a tax advisor at Société Générale.
