
ESSCA has been awarded the two-star “Bienvenue en France” label for a period of four years by Campus France. This is a national award that guarantees the quality of the welcome provided by higher education institutions for incoming overseas students.
ESSCA is one of the 120 institutions that have been awarded the label out of the 191 that are involved in the process.
The “Bienvenue en France” Label
The “Bienvenue en France” Label assesses the quality of the welcome, support and follow-up of international students by higher education institutions.
This Label was launched in 2019 by the Ministry of Higher Education, Research and Innovation, and aims to:
- inform international students about the welcome structures and initiatives in place at their host institution.
- attest to the quality and accessibility of welcome structures, and to promote the initiatives undertaken in this area by French institutions.
- promote the development of a high-quality international student experience within French universities and schools.
Conditions for obtaining the “Bienvenue en France” label
To be awarded the label, institutions are required to self-evaluate 5 criteria, as follows: the quality and accessibility of information, the quality and accessibility of reception facilities, the quality and support of teaching, accommodation and quality of life on campus, and finally the quality of support provided to graduates.
