Traditionally known for its textile, chemical, and petrochemical sectors, Lyon has shifted its focus towards industries such as pharmaceuticals, biotechnology, imaging, and tourism.

Lyon’s many theatres, museums, cinemas, concert halls, opera houses and famous “bouchon”. restaurants will satisfy your curiosity and your desire to discover new things. If you’re passionate about history and heritage, then you'll love admiring the remains of the capital of Gaul and strolling through Vieux-Lyon, a UNESCO World Heritage site since 1998.

Campus location and access

The campus of ESSCA at Lyon, France is situated in Gerland. Boasting modern and spacious facilities, it is easily accessible via bus and tram, with stops conveniently positioned at its doorstep.

Facilities

Located in a light-filled building fully refurbished by the business school in 2019 and expanded in 2023, the Lyon campus of ESSCA spans 9,000 m². It offers state-of-the-art facilities designed to support learning, collaboration, and relaxation.

On the ground floor, the foyer, Learning Centre, and Workafé provide spaces for both individual and group work, along with social areas comparable to those found in leading international business schools. Two sports halls are also available, offering students a chance to stay active after a busy day of studying.

With the opening of its new campus in Lyon, ESSCA has demonstrated its commitment to expanding into a new region and integrating with its economic landscape. Recognizing this opportunity, Vinci Construction has forged a partnership with ESSCA, allowing us to engage with the younger generation, provide avenues for skill development through internships, and discover new talent for the future.

Grande École programme - Postgraduate
