Visiting faculty positions at ESSCA

ESSCA has heavily invested in upgrading its research activity during the past ten years and our faculty is deeply committed to developing a research output of high quality.

Our ambition for the years to come is to develop a broader international research perspective by encouraging our faculty to develop research cooperation in the various fields of Management Education (Management, Marketing, Finance and Economics). Within this perspective, each colleague is encouraged to develop his/her own research agenda.

To sustain this effort, ESSCA offers each year one or two visiting faculty positions to colleagues from partner institutions, either for a semester or for a full academic year (applications from other EQUIS or AACSB accredited institutions will also be considered).

It is expected that all successful applicants will team with one or several of our faculty on a research project and will commit to teaching one course a semester (usually at the Master level). During his/her stay, the colleague will be a member of the department and as so will benefit from an office, a computer with internet access and a printer.

ESSCA also offers accommodation for the visiting faculty and his/her family in a 2-bedroom apartment, provides a car during the time of presence at ESSCA and covers the round trip from his/her home institution and ESSCA (possibility also of complementary funding based on teaching load).

Visiting faculty positions are only offered on the Angers campus in France.

Applications (letter of interest, curriculum vitae and research objectives) should be sent simultaneously to the head of the department and to the Dean of Faculty
