First business school in France to be granted the  EPAS  accreditation for excellence for its management programme, ESSCA is the reference business school for recruitment upon secondary school graduation.

Member of the Conférence des Grandes Écoles, it provides a Bac + 5, Masters grade diploma approved by the Ministry of National Education.

In 2009, 426 secondary school graduates entered first year: 219 in Angers and 207 in Paris La Défense.

The first year entrance exam is reserved for final year secondary school students. A parallel admission exam is available for students with a Bac +3/4 diploma.

The five-year curriculum is divided into an undergraduate 3 year programme and a 2 year Masters programme.
