A former member of BDS Sportak'sus, where he was in charge of events, and a cycling aficionado, Yannig Roth (a Master 1 student), from Brittany, chose to spend his international semester in the United States at the University of West Florida near Mobile, on the border of Alabama. |
After taking the time to settle, he start pedalling with the Argonaut mountain bikers at the university, where he made friends and contacts. As the university does not offer cycling among its campus sports, he decided to join one of the city's two cycling teams, "Weber Sports Racing".
In excellent physical shape, he was accepted in the second category, in which professionals and the elite cycle together. He was therefore able to participate in the Foothills Road race (15th), the Sunny King Criterium (2nd) and won the Tallahassee victory, becoming the Florida Junior Champion (under 23). In addition to his exceptional sporting achievements, this project allowed him to refine his career project, which includes returning to Boulogne-Billancourt to apply for the webmarketing specialisation programme!
