Promoting Business Ethics Contest 


In the context of a partnership with the Grandes Ecoles association ("Conférence des Grandes Ecoles"), Rotary International organised its sixth contest this year for business school and engineering students, the goal of which is to encourage them to reflect on the importance of ethical business behaviour and related values.

Our sincere congratulations to Olivier Lesboueyries, a first year ESSCA student, who won the First Regional Prize of €1,000 for the Pays de la Loire region on May 3, 2010 further to his essay entitled "How to reconcile ethics and sustainable development in businesses".

 

Olivier was also selected for the national contest; the award ceremony will take place at UNESCO on May 26, 2010 at 6:00 pm.

 

As you may recall, in May 2009, Romaric Janssen, who is currently a Master 2 student, was also congratulated for his honourable mention at the national contest award ceremony held at UNESCO for his essay entitled "Individuals: the number one corporate asset".

Since March, and until August 2010, Romaric is on a volunteer internship working in a microfinance institution in Cambodia and has just been accepted at the London School of Economics for its prestigious Development Management Masters programme.
